Promoting Oral Health: Dental Camp by Al Shifa Clinic Santacruz with Indian Dental Association

Overview Al Shifa Clinic Santacruz, in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association (IDA), organized a free dental check-up camp on 05 October 2025 at Green Park Co-op Housing Society, Santacruz (W), Mumbai. The camp was conducted from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM with the objective of promoting oral health awareness and making basic dental care services easily accessible to the community. The initiative emphasized early detection of dental issues and the importance of preventive care. Participation & Services The camp received a positive response from the local community, with a total of 52 patients benefiting from the services provided. Key services included oral examinations, dietary guidance for maintaining oral health, hygiene counseling, and referrals for advanced or follow-up treatment at the Prabhadevi Centre. Community Impact The initiative played a significant role in identifying common dental problems such as cavities, gum-related issues, and poor oral hygiene practices. Participants were guided on maintaining proper dental care routines and encouraged to undergo regular check-ups to prevent long-term complications. Conclusion The dental camp was successfully carried out with the dedicated efforts of healthcare professionals and volunteers.
