Empowering Women Through Financial Awareness – CWC Initiative

The Community Welfare Centre (CWC) at Malwani, operated under Niswarth Sewa Charitable Trust, continues to offer a range of skill development programs for women, including tailoring, mehndi design, and other vocational courses. On 7th October 2025, a Financial Literacy session was organized at the centre to promote awareness about financial planning and money management among participants. The session witnessed the participation of 67 attendees, including students and staff members. The session was conducted by representatives from Scaling High Ventures Private Limited, led by Mr. Azim Kazi (Senior Manager) and his team. The keynote speaker, Chirag Jain, introduced the fundamentals of financial planning and emphasized the importance of saving money for education, family needs, future security, and retirement. The session also covered various investment options and their benefits, helping participants understand how to make informed financial decisions and build sustainable financial habits. The program concluded with a note of appreciation by Mr. Farooq Belsare, Incharge of CWC Malwani, who also highlighted other ongoing initiatives and community programs at the centre. The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, especially for women aiming to enhance their financial awareness and independence.
