Healthcare Support Extended to Inmates Through Medical & Dental Camp

Medical & Dental Camp Held at Byculla District Jail MSS Kurla Unit, with the support of Niswarth Sewa Charitable Trust, organised a Medical & Dental Camp at Byculla District Jail today from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The camp aimed to provide essential medical screening and healthcare support to inmates and jail staff. A total of 233 inmates underwent medical and dental examinations, including blood pressure monitoring and blood sugar testing wherever required. The jail staff were also screened during the camp. Among them, four staff members were found to have significantly elevated blood sugar levels and were advised to undergo further medical evaluation. The camp received the valuable support of 12 doctors, comprising 7 female doctors and 5 male doctors, who contributed their time and expertise towards the medical and dental examinations. As a gesture of appreciation, Certificates of Acknowledgement were presented to all participating doctors on behalf of MSS in recognition of their valuable contribution and service. The camp was successfully conducted with the cooperation and support of the Byculla District Jail authorities and staff. MSS extends its sincere gratitude to all the participating doctors, jail authorities, staff, volunteers, and Niswarth Sewa Charitable Trust for their support in making the initiative a success.
